Customer Reviews

We hired EYD Carpentry & Remodeling to manage a full first-floor renovation, including a kitchen expansion and new hardwood flooring throughout. From the very first consultation, the project manager was clear about what was included, what was not, and exactly what we should expect at each stage. The crew was on-site every morning on schedule and cleaned up every afternoon before they left, which made a significant difference since we were living in the house throughout the renovation. The finished result is exactly what we discussed — we could not be more pleased.

I brought EYD Carpentry & Remodeling in for a commercial tenant improvement at our K Street office space, and they delivered a professional result on a demanding schedule. The project manager kept me informed daily through a communication channel we set up at the start of the job, which meant I never had to chase anyone down for answers. The build quality is excellent — clean lines, solid finishes, and no punch list surprises at the end. I will be using them again for our second location.

EYD Carpentry & Remodeling remodeled our master bathroom in our Arlington home, and the craftsmanship is genuinely impressive. The tile work is perfectly aligned, the grouting is flawless, and the frameless glass installation was completed without a single chip or imperfection. They also coordinated the plumber and electrician without any gaps in scheduling, which I had been worried about after hearing stories from friends. Every workday ended with the space cleaned and protected — they treated our home with real respect.

We had a room addition completed by EYD Carpentry & Remodeling and the experience was far smoother than I anticipated. They pulled all the permits, coordinated the structural engineer, and kept us updated every week on where things stood. The framing, insulation, drywall, and finish work were all done to a high standard and the transition between the new addition and the existing structure is seamless — you would never know it was not original. A professional operation from start to finish.

After getting three estimates for our kitchen remodel, we chose EYD Carpentry & Remodeling because their written estimate was the most detailed and transparent — line by line, every material and labor item was specified. That transparency carried through the entire job. The project manager called us every Friday with a status update and the crew never left without tidying the workspace. The kitchen looks stunning and we are already recommending EYD Carpentry & Remodeling to neighbors.

EYD Carpentry & Remodeling handled the exterior renovation on our Falls Church home — new siding, fascia replacement, and a complete deck rebuild — and the results are outstanding. The crew worked efficiently and cleanly even in tight quarters along the side of the house. When one of the material deliveries was delayed, the project manager proactively communicated the situation and adjusted the schedule so we barely noticed the impact. That kind of professionalism is exactly what you want in a contractor.
